I'm on coat #3 of step 1 and it's still not fully covering my glossy dark brown cabinets. If I could start over again I would have coated all of my cabinets with Bullseye 123 before beginning this kit for absolute adhesion. I did sand but I should have used bullseye to ensure no issues down the road. Definitely do the adhesion test before beginning project. I also would not have laid the cabinets on the ground to paint them, especially the sides, because it went under onto the bottom and I will have to sand the bottom before painting. Man I just really messed this project up. I hope someone can learn from my errors.
