Set up is somewhat complicated and I was unable to complete the setup without their tech support help. Tech support was helpful and I did get it set up and working. Shortly thereafter I found the garage door opened when I arrived home from work. I figured I forgot to close the door. A few days later, after work I was in the garage and the door opened by itself. I researched the issue and found there were several possible causes. After troubleshooting the issue and calling tech support again I was unable to isolate the cause.A few days later I received a notification that the garage door was opened while I was away from home. I tried to use the app to close the door, but the app indicated it was disconnected from the system. This happened several times where the door would open, sometimes in the middle of the night, and the app was not connected to the system and could not close the door. This also happened while I was on vacation and the door remained open for almost a week.There is no solution to fix this issue so I bought a different unit (MeRoss Smart WiFi Garage Door Opener Remote, $26) The MeRoss is working flawlessly (so far).Save your money and don't buy this Aladdin controller.
